Returns & Exchanges Policy

This Returns & Exchanges Policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds and exchanges work for purchases made directly from Belantti at www.belantti.co.uk.

Your statutory rights are not affected. Online orders are covered by UK consumer protection rules, including cancellation rights for most distance purchases and consumer rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

If you purchased through eBay, TikTok Shop or another authorised marketplace, that marketplace’s return process and buyer protection rules may also apply. Please start the return through the platform where you made the purchase.

1. How to start a return

To request a return, use your Belantti customer account where available:

You can also contact us at support@belantti.co.uk with your order number, the item you wish to return and the reason for return.

Please do not send items back before your return request has been reviewed. Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted and may delay processing.

2. Your right to cancel

For most online orders, UK consumers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To cancel, you must notify us within the 14-day cancellation period. After telling us you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

This cancellation right does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

3. Return conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be returned:

  • unused, unopened and in their original condition;
  • in the original packaging where possible;
  • with all seals, tags, hygiene seals and protective packaging intact where applicable;
  • with proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt.

Items that are used, opened, damaged after delivery, missing packaging or returned in a condition that affects resale may be refused or subject to a deduction where permitted by law.

4. Hygiene and non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used beauty, skincare, cosmetics, grooming, haircare, fragrance, personal care products or tools unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • opened skincare, cosmetics, makeup, haircare or grooming products;
  • used beauty tools, grooming tools, razors, rollers, brushes, combs or accessories;
  • items with broken hygiene seals or tamper-evident packaging;
  • opened or used supplements, ingestible products, collagen drinks or consumable wellness products;
  • digital gift cards;
  • items clearly marked as final sale, where permitted by law.

These exclusions do not apply where the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

5. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, start a return through your Belantti customer account or contact us at support@belantti.co.uk as soon as possible with:

  • your order number;
  • a description of the issue;
  • clear photos of the product, packaging and delivery box where relevant.

If your item is confirmed as faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will arrange an appropriate resolution in line with your statutory rights. This may include a refund, replacement, repair or other remedy depending on the issue.

6. Return postage costs

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover reasonable return postage costs or provide return instructions where applicable.

If Belantti or a partner courier provides a return label for a change-of-mind return, the cost of that label may be deducted from your refund where permitted by law.

We recommend using a tracked postal service. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit without proof of postage or delivery.

7. United States and international returns

Customers ordering from the United States or outside the United Kingdom may return eligible items in line with this policy.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, international return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Original delivery charges are not refunded unless required by law or unless the order was faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Import duties, taxes, customs charges or carrier handling fees paid by the customer are not refunded by Belantti unless required by law.

If a US or international order is refused, uncollected, returned to sender, delayed or returned because of unpaid import charges, incorrect address details or customs issues, any refund will be reviewed in line with the condition of the returned parcel and applicable law. Original shipping costs and return costs may be deducted where permitted.

8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds are normally processed within 7–10 working days after the returned item has been received and inspected. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

Where required by law, refunds will be processed within the applicable statutory timeframe. Where cancellation rights apply, refunds will normally be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that the goods have been sent back.

If you cancel your full order within the cancellation period, standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Upgrade shipping fees, such as express or premium delivery, may not be refunded beyond the cost of standard delivery unless legally required.

If your order was paid partly or fully using a gift card, store credit, reward, discount code or promotional offer, the refund may be returned to the original payment method, gift card, store credit balance or adjusted to reflect the amount actually paid.

9. Clearpay, PayPal and other payment methods

If your order was paid using Clearpay, PayPal or another third-party payment provider, any approved refund will normally be processed back through the original payment method.

Payment providers may take additional time to update payment plans, instalments, account balances or refund status after Belantti has processed the refund.

10. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges as standard.

The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original item, if eligible, and place a new order.

If we agree to an exchange in a specific case, it will be subject to stock availability. If the replacement item costs more, you may need to pay the difference before dispatch. If it costs less, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.

11. Gifts, discounts and promotional items

If your order included a free gift, bundle saving or promotional item, this may need to be returned unused and unopened if you return the qualifying product.

If the free gift or promotional item is not returned, we reserve the right to deduct its value from your refund where permitted by law.

If you used a discount code or promotion, your refund will reflect the amount actually paid after the discount was applied.

12. Digital gift cards

Digital gift cards are generally non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

If a gift card was used to purchase eligible physical products that are later returned, any approved refund may be returned to the gift card balance or original payment method depending on how the order was paid and how Shopify processes the refund.

13. Belantti Premier Delivery membership

Belantti Premier Delivery is a digital delivery membership. It is non-refundable once it has been used.

If Premier Delivery has not been used, any refund request will be reviewed in line with this policy and applicable consumer rights.

Premier Delivery does not affect your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

14. Partner-fulfilled orders

Some products may be supplied or shipped by approved partner brands or fulfilment partners, including through Shopify Collective or similar supplier arrangements.

For partner-fulfilled orders, returns should still be initiated through your Belantti customer account or by contacting Belantti. Return instructions may vary depending on the supplier, fulfilment location or product type.

Refunds may be processed once the partner confirms receipt and inspection of the returned item. Operational return steps may vary, but this does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

If you purchased a Belantti item through eBay, TikTok Shop or another authorised marketplace, that marketplace’s return process and buyer protection rules may also apply.
