You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting support@belantti.co.uk.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending essential communications about your orders, account, returns, refunds, security or other services you have requested.

We may retain a limited suppression record after you unsubscribe so that we can respect your request and avoid adding you back to marketing unintentionally.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember preferences, understand website use, measure performance and, where permitted, support advertising and personalisation.

Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent because they are required for functions such as checkout, security, account access and shopping-basket operation.

Non-essential analytics, advertising and personalisation technologies should only be used where the required consent has been obtained.

Further information about the technologies we use and how to manage your preferences is available in our Cookie Policy.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you browse the store, create an account, place an order, use Shopify-powered checkout services or interact with Shopify features.

Shopify may process information to provide, protect, improve and personalise its services. Where Shopify Network Intelligence or related enhanced services are enabled, Shopify may use information from interactions with Belantti, Shopify and other Shopify merchants to provide enhanced fraud prevention, analytics, advertising, personalisation and commerce services.

Information may be shared with Shopify and may be processed in countries outside the United Kingdom. Where required, consent choices made through our cookie banner or Shopify’s privacy tools will be communicated to Shopify.

You can read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify Privacy Portal to learn more about Shopify’s processing and available privacy choices.

No method of online transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

12. Automated processing and fraud prevention

Shopify, payment providers and fraud-prevention services may use automated tools to assess transactions, identify suspicious activity or protect customers and merchants.

Belantti does not ordinarily make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated processing. Where another provider acts as an independent controller, its own privacy information will apply.

13. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information held about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Ask us to delete personal information where there is no lawful reason to retain it
  • Ask us to restrict how personal information is used
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Object to direct marketing at any time
  • Request transfer of certain information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office

These rights are not absolute and may be limited where we have a legal obligation or other lawful reason to retain or continue using information.

To exercise a right, email support@belantti.co.uk. Please include enough information for us to identify you and understand your request. We may request reasonable proof of identity before releasing or changing personal information.

14. Children’s information

Our website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Customers under 18 should use the website and make purchases only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

15. Third-party websites

Our website may contain links to websites, services or social-media platforms operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, and Belantti is not responsible for how those organisations process personal information.

You should review the privacy information of any third-party service before providing personal information.
